Kieran McKenna and Craig Bellamy have been linked with the Scottish champions manager position
The Championship club's Kieran McKenna says he has had "zero discussions" with the Glasgow club about their managerial vacancy, while Welsh head coach Craig Bellamy is committed to seeing out his squad's World Cup campaign.
Both have been linked with the manager's job at the Scottish champions following the former manager's resignation on Monday.
The Ipswich boss described the Glasgow giants as "a really big soccer institution" but emphasized he is "in the middle" of a "extensive rebuilding" with the Championship side.
The mid-thirties took charge of Portman Road in 2021 and guided the team to the Premier League with back-to-back promotions, but they won just a handful of victories last season as they were demoted back to the Championship and they currently sit 12th in the Championship.
"I have not had any of those conversations," the English capital native former Irish youth international said when asked about being on Celtic's shortlist.
"This isn't a matter I have given any thought to, or where any part of my focus is currently.
"I possess a special position here at a remarkable team. And we're at a crucial phase of the campaign. Everything outside of that hasn't touched my awareness."
It has been suggested that McKenna would be willing to talk to Celtic given his boyhood allegiances.
"During youth, we all have our preferences," he said when questioned about those. "I don't think all people has to go around and declare what they were, but of course it's a massive sports organization."
The coach signed a fresh multi-year deal in last year and was questioned about his alleged £5m release clause.
"Throughout coaching agreements, there are things," he responded. "I don't know what my specific terms are and, were I informed, I wouldn't disclose you anyway!
"I approach this role like I'll be Ipswich manager forever. I understand that's not always going to be the case, but I will consistently do my best as long as I remain in position."
Bellamy represented Celtic on loan from Newcastle United in the mid-2000s, but the ex- Wales striker is minded to complete the current global tournament campaign, a position that would effectively rule out the mid-forties from immediately taking the Celtic job.
The Welsh squad are presently in third place in their qualifying group behind leaders the Red Devils and second-placed Macedonia.
Victories over Liechtenstein and their rivals in November would secure their place in the qualification play-offs, but they are all but guaranteed of making those, thanks to a successful Nations League performance, even if they fail to end up their group second place.
Considering his current position, Bellamy, whose contract concludes after Euro 2028, would not be available until after the qualifying matches at the minimum.
