AC Shadows Introduces Surprising AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving

In a surprising partnership that challenges traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Disclosed

According to the formal release, "An unusual meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of prohibited rituals and monstrous transformations reverberate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret group.

The questline concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
